Legal Validity of Bagaer

Bagaer was developed to offer maximum security in luggage protection through encrypted, authenticated and legally valid digital documents.

Each bag registered in the app generates a unique digital document, protected with an ICP-Brasil signature and GlobalSign seal, officially recognized throughout Brazil and internationally. This double layer ensures that the document complies with current regulations and is accepted as legitimate and reliable proof.

The system follows chain-of-custody principles, preserving the integrity, prioritization, and authenticity of data. Boarding documents, photos, videos, descriptions, location, and time are recorded on the document, which also receives a unique QR Code pointing to the Bagaer verification page, preventing tampering or fraud. This allows any interested party—passenger, airline, insurer, lawyer, or court—to confirm the document's validity, digital signature, and history in real time.

Bagaer's technology is unique and has a patent application. The use of digital certificates (ICP-Brasil and GlobalSign) gives the document the same legal value as a digitally signed electronic contract, in accordance with Brazilian law (MP No. 2.200-2/2001) and international certification standards.
