FAQ - Customer Support

1. Is Bagaer luggage insurance?

No. Bagaer is not traditional insurance (with premium or compensation payments).
It acts as a digital shield for your luggage by generating an official, encrypted, and digitally signed document (ICP-Brazil and GlobalSign), creating an irreversible chain of custody legally recognized worldwide.
2. Does Bagaer compensate the passenger in case of fraud, loss or damage?

No. Bagaer does not pay compensation.
It generates a legally binding document that proves ownership and integrity of the baggage, serving as irrefutable evidence in cases of loss, damage, or fraud—giving the passenger legal protection against airlines and insurers.
3. But, after all, what does Bagaer do?

Bagaer is a pioneering and internationally patented global digital baggage authentication platform.
It creates an official, encrypted document that records photos, videos, geolocation, and the date and time of check-in, ensuring the authenticity and integrity of your baggage from check-in to final delivery.

Bagaer's technology acts as a digital and legal safeguard: each registered bag receives a unique identity and an authenticated seal, which serves as proof of ownership and condition.
This eliminates evidence-based disputes, reduces fraud, and ensures complete transparency in air transportation.

In short, Bagaer transforms baggage check-in into a secure, traceable and legally recognized digital process.
4. What if something goes wrong (loss, fraud or damage)?

Report the incident through the Bagaer app at the Incident Center, following the system's steps.
Also, go to the airline counter and fill out the Baggage Irregularity Report (RIB) to formalize the incident.

Since this is a new system, airlines are still adjusting.
Therefore, it may be necessary to reinforce registration by completing the RIB.
5. Does Bagaer provide legal advice?

Yes. We have partner law firms that offer support during the incident, ensuring passengers have technical and legal support throughout the process.
6. How much does it cost to register baggage and generate the document?

The registration fee per bag (per document) is USD 10.00.
This fee includes digital authentication, encryption, and generation of the document with international legal validity.
7. How much does legal advice cost?

There is no initial cost.
Only in the event of a lawsuit is a percentage agreed upon with the passenger charged, which is deducted only in the event of a victory.
8. How does the tracker work?

  • The system is compatible with Apple AirTags and also with low-cost Bagaer Bluetooth trackers.
  • The tracker can be paired with the digital document generated by the app, allowing you to locate your luggage in real time and making it easier for the airline to search for it in case of loss.
9. Who is responsible in case of loss, damage or fraud?

The carrier, that is, the airline, is always responsible.
Bagaer acts as legal proof and a defense tool for passengers, providing official and indisputable documentation to guarantee their rights.
